Saint Marguerite Catholic School Welcomes All Families

At Saint Marguerite Catholic School, we believe a Catholic education is something every child should have the opportunity to receive. We understand it is a decision that requires a significant investment. It is our commitment to work with families on a confidential, and individual, basis to ensure that qualified students are given every opportunity to attend our school. Please contact us for information on how your child/children can receive a private school education.

Tuition for 2026-2027

Tuition and fees for Utah Catholic Schools are determined by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City in consultation with diocesan administrators, pastors, principals, and boards, typically in late January each year, and are published at that time.

2026-2027 Tuition Schedule

  • Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Half-Day Rate: $3,500 (ages 3 and 4)
  • Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten All Day Rate: $6,000 (ages 3 and 4)
  • Kindergarten – 7th Grade Tuition
    • Tier 1 (Full Rate) tuition to: $9,500
    • Tier 2 (Needs Based / Catholic Rate) tuition to: $9,250
    • Tier 3 Needs Based Rate (must complete a FACTS Grant & Aid application with required documents to qualify)

Fee Schedule for 2026-2027

Fees are collected at the beginning of the school year. Families may choose to add them to their monthly FACTS payment plan, but please keep in mind they are non-refundable.

  • Registration Fee $290
  • Activity Fee $55
  • Yearbook $15
  • Additional fees may include: planner, and handwriting book.

Payment Options for 2026-2027

All tuition is payable only through FACTS Management Company by automatic withdrawal unless paying in full. All families are required to have an active FACTS Payment Plan to allow the school to bill for services throughout the year; such as, our school lunch program, spirit wear, activities, etc.

All families enrolled in FACTS will be renewed automatically for the 2026-2027 school year; however, each year a one-time FACTS fee will be applied.

The following payment options are available through FACTS:

Important Dates

  • February 28: All students and families must be enrolled in FACTS no later than February 28, regardless of which payment option they will utilize.
  • April 15: Families applying for a Needs Based tuition rate must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid Application no later than April 15.

Financial Tuition Assistance

Financial tuition assistance is available to those families who show a demonstrated need of financial support. This assistance is provided to as many students and families as possible, regardless of their economic, ethnic, or racial backgrounds.

Those applying for a Needs Based tuition rate must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid Application each year, no later than April 15. In addition to the completed application, FACTS will require you to pay an enrollment fee and to submit required forms for both parties – W2 & 1040 – no exceptions). Tuition assistance funds are limited so it is imperative that the application and required documentation is submitted before the deadline. Those applying will be advised by May 15 of the tuition amount.

Scholarships

Utah Fits All

The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, launching for the first time in the 2026-2027 school year, offers tax-free scholarship funds to eligible students for use toward tuition. A student who is a resident of Utah, including a child of a military service member, eligible to participate in K-12 (at least 5 years old and no more than 18 years old on or before September 1 of the year in which you are applying), does not receive the Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship; is not enrolled in an LEA or in the Statewide Online Education Program (SOEP) upon receiving the scholarship are eligible. Children’s First Education Fund

The 2024 Utah State Legislature passed a bill merging the Special Needs Opportunity Scholarship program with the Carson Smith Scholarship program. Children First Education Fund (CFEF) will administer the new combined program. Scholarships are available for children in preschool, kindergarten, and grades 1-12, and may be used for private school tuition, books, supplies, and education-related therapies or treatments. Scholarships are generally awarded for a term of three years and may be renewed in 3-year increments, so long as the student continues to demonstrate eligibility. ACE Scholarships

ACE Scholarships are partial tuition, intended to provide added assistance lower-income families may need to enroll their child in a private school. Standard ACE award amounts are $3,000 for K-8 and $4,000 for high school, and no greater than 50% of private school tuition, yet may vary dependent upon unique circumstances. Families are responsible for working out a payment plan with the school for the remainder of the tuition. More information may be found on the ACE website
